Xbace Sdn Bhd’s Terms & Conditions for “Book & Win 3D2N Costa Serena Cruise Package” (“Campaign”)
The Campaign Period
- The Campaign is for limited period from 21st August 2023 (effective from 12:00am) to 28th September 2023 (up to 11:59pm)
- Xbace Sdn Bhd reserves the absolute right to change the Campaign duration upon giving prior notice to the public via its official website and/or official social media pages.
Eligibility
- The Campaign is opened for all Malaysians only, aged 18 years old and above (“Participant”).
- Eligible Participant must also meet these 3 criteria : –
- To participate in the Campaign, customers must book at least 1 slot (start from only RM9.90/ 30min) at any Xbace POD. The 10 winners will be randomly selected based on their booking usage of Xbace POD.
- Each participant is only entitled to one (1) entry to this Campaign.
- Participants must maintain their status as followers or fans of the Xbace’s social media account(s) throughout the Campaign Period until winners are announced by Xbace.
- The Organizer may at its sole and absolute discretion extend the Campaign Period at any time upon giving prior notice to the public (‘The Extended Period’). Unless an extended period is announced by the Organizer through Xbace’s official social media platforms, any entries received by the Organizer after the Campaign Period shall be treated as void.
- All participation in the Campaign Period during this Extended Period (if any) shall be governed by these similar terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions’) which shall remain in full force and effect for this Campaign.
- By participating in the Campaign, all participants shall be deemed to :-
- consent for Xbace to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to the participation in the Campaign; and
- consent for Xbace to disclose or publish their personal information such as their names and identities and any general information that Xbace sees fit and necessary about the participants in any media, marketing, or advertising materials; and
- grant Xbace the absolute and unrestricted right to modify, use and publish any still or moving images of the participants for any promotional, marketing, commercial or other related purpose, without any payment or compensation.
Prizes & Participation Criteria
- Customer must book at least 1 slot (start from only RM9.90/ 30min) at any Xbace POD to qualify to participate in the Campaign.
- Campaign’s Prizes :
- Twin (2 persons) sharing of One (1) “Inside Classic” cabin type on board ‘The Largest Venice Carnival at Sea’ departure from Port Klang – Penang – Port Klang on 17th January 2024 to 19th January 2024.
- Campaign Prize includes 3 days and 2 nights on board cruise ship accommodation, with complimentary activities range from sports and wellness facilities to evening entertainment. Costa Cruises includes everything you could wish from a vacation. However, it does not include the extra facilities (drinks, excursions, spa treatments etc) and service fees.
- All other expenses including Passenger Handling Charges of RM430/pax and other incidental charges (including Onboard Gratuities USD16/pax per night or any other travelling cost) are to be borne solely by winners/passengers and to be paid in full to Hwajing Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd upon claiming of Campaign’s prize. However, if required to upgrade cabin, it will subject to Hwajing’ cabin availability and final decisions.
How to participate?
- Step to Book:
- Customers must be registered as Xbace’s users with valid email address and phone number.
- Customers can book through Xbace’s official website (https://xbace.com.my/), web apps (http://booking.xbace.com.my/), and walk-in.
- Successfully booked Xbace POD and Paid.
Winner Selection Process
- The 10 winners will be randomly selected based on their booking usage of Xbace POD from among all the eligible entries received by 28th September 2023
- Each participant is only entitled to one (1) entry to this Campaign.
- The 10 winners will be contacted at any time deemed appropriate by the Xbace, via email or any other mode of communication deemed appropriate by Xbace.
- If Xbace is unable to contact the winners after several attempts within 2 days from the selection time by Xbace, then Xbace reserves the right to cancel the selected winner’s entry and forfeit the Campaign Prize, and the non-contactable winner shall have no claim whatsoever against Xbace for the cancellation and the forfeiture of the Campaign Prizes.
- The decisions on the selected winners made by the Xbace is final.
Prizes Terms & Conditions
- The Organizer reserves the absolute right to substitute or replace any of the Campaign’s prizes with other prizes of similar values at any time, if the stipulated prizes are not available due to unforeseen circumstances, without any prior written notice to the public.
- Prize may be subject to additional terms and conditions imposed by the Costa Serena /Hwajing Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd and it is the winner’s responsibility to read, understand and accept such terms and conditions.
- All prizes are accepted entirely at the risk of the winners at all times and the Organizer excludes all responsibility in connection with any prize to the extent permitted by law.
- Prize is strictly non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be exchangeable for cash, credit, in-kind or alternative cruise itinerary and non-combinable with any other offers, promotions or discount.
General Terms and Conditions
- Campaign’s Prizes unclaimed by winners after 30th September 2023 will be forfeited.
- The winners are bound by the terms and conditions imposed by the Costa Serena/Hwajing Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd that comes along with the Campaign Prizes.
- The redemption and acceptance of the winning prizes by the successful winners shall be deemed the winners’ acknowledgment and acceptance of such terms and conditions imposed by Costa Serena/Hwajing Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd.
- One of the travelling parties per stateroom must be at least 21 years old.
- Costa Serena or Hwajing Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd reserves the right to alter travel arrangements as stated in the itinerary and/or accommodation type in the event of any circumstances that are beyond the control of Costa Serena/Hwajing Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd.
- Xbace’s decision on any matter relating to this Campaign is final and binding on all participants. If any matters arise which are not covered in these Terms and Conditions, such matters shall be solely determined by Xbace.
- Xbace reserves the right absolute right to add, change, and/or modify any of these Terms and Conditions including terminating or suspending this Campaign, or extending the Promotion Period at any time upon giving prior notice to the public of any such addition, changes and modification of the Terms and Conditions on Xbace’s website or official Facebook page.
Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”):
- By participating in this Campaign, the Participants provides their consent to allow Xbace to collect, use, and disclose their personal data to any third party, the personal data of the Participant provided by the Participant pursuant to this Campaign for any and all purposes relating to this Campaign and any and all other activity relating to or arising from the course of business or businesses of Xbace Sdnb Bhd including, without limitation for the running of this Campaign and or any event or publicity of the contest in any form or through any media without additional compensation, notification or permission.
- The Participant acknowledges that Xbace and/or its employees is/are authorized to process the personal data provided pursuant to this Campaign in accordance with its privacy policy.

- The Campaign and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The participants agree that the Courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction over all matters arising from this Campaign.
